Frank S. Hedin, co-founder of the firm, serves as lead counsel in high-stakes class actions in the consumer and data privacy realms. Known as a creative thinker and exceptional legal strategist, Mr. Hedin is regularly called upon to tackle some of the most complex and difficult issues presented in these areas of law.

He recently achieved multiple significant victories on important issues of first impression pertaining to the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (in litigation against Google LLC, Shutterfly, Inc., and Facebook Inc.) and the Michigan Preservation of Personal Privacy Act (in litigation against Crain Communications, Inc.).

Prior to establishing Hedin Hall LLP, Mr. Hedin practiced at a Miami-based litigation boutique, where he was a partner and head of the firm's class action litigation practice, which he built from scratch in less than four years.

Earlier in his legal career, Mr. Hedin served as law clerk to the Honorable William Q. Hayes, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of California.

Mr. Hedin earned his Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan in 2008, and his juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 2012.
